Students can learn the art of papermaking, bookbinding and letterpress printing in an individual setting at a pace and content that works for them. I have been teaching these artforms for 20 years for both adults and college/academic settings and bring a professional and empathetic philosophy to the process.

Students can pre-book with a deposit for a private lesson or pay for a lesson online after booking with Rhiannon Alpers.

In-person lessons for one are usually 3 hours and $150, and $50/hr after that, including basic materials and tools. Additional participants can be quoted.

Zoom or other online courses are $45 per hour or $120 for a 3-hour course and can include templates, materials, and handouts if requested. Please email directly to find a date and time that's mutually agreeable. Lessons/private workshops for additional people will be booked special. 

You will receive a confirmation email of your reservation and will be able to pay the balance by check or cash at the time of your lesson. 

Please note: On the second cancellation of an appointment by the student with less than 5 days notice, the student will be asked to pay for the lesson since another student cannot be booked.
